Volkswagen is preparing to reveal its latest entry-level electric vehicle, which could inherit the Golf nameplate. 

The new concept car is expected to debut in March and will serve as a successor to the popular Golf model. 

The affordable EV is set to offer a range of up to 250 miles on a single charge, and its compact size will make it ideal for urban driving. 

The vehicle is expected to be priced below the ID.3, VW's first fully electric model, making it a more accessible option for budget-conscious customers. 

The Golf-inspired EV is part of VW's ambitious plan to electrify its entire lineup and capture a larger share of the EV market.
