Cadillac to Unveil Three New EVs in 2023, Potentially Including Entry-Level SUV
February 16, 2023Cadillac has announced that it will be revealing three new electric vehicles (EVs) in 2023, which is part of the automaker's efforts to accelerate its electrification plans.
One of the upcoming EVs could potentially be an entry-level SUV, as the automaker seeks to expand its electric lineup.
In addition to the new models, Cadillac is also expected to offer a variety of powertrains for its electric cars, including rear-wheel-drive, all-wheel-drive, and performance variants.
The upcoming EVs will be built on General Motors' Ultium platform, which will allow them to offer a range of up to 400 miles.
The Ultium platform also supports 800-volt charging, which enables faster charging times compared to traditional charging methods.
Furthermore, Cadillac's announcement comes as many other automakers are also ramping up their electric offerings, signaling a major shift towards electric mobility in the automotive industry.
As the world moves towards a more sustainable future, it is likely that we will see more automakers invest heavily in electrification, and Cadillac's move is just the latest example of this trend.
