Mercedes-AMG has ruled out the possibility of a successor to the AMG One hypercar. According to a statement from the company, it has no plans to develop a follow-up model. The AMG One, which was first announced in 2017 and was set to feature a hybrid powertrain with over 1,000 horsepower, has faced numerous delays and is not yet available for purchase.

The AMG One was set to be a limited-edition model with just 275 units planned for production. However, due to the delays and the high cost of development, it is unclear how many units will actually be built. The company stated that they are focusing on the development of other models and technologies instead of investing in another hypercar.

The AMG One has been a highly-anticipated model, with many car enthusiasts eagerly waiting for its release. However, it seems that they will have to look elsewhere for their high-performance fix, as it appears that a successor to the AMG One is not in the cards.
